Pharmacists play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines by dispensing prescriptions, providing medication advice, and supporting patient care. The Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registers eligible pharmacists who meet the prescribed qualifications and statutory requirements, enabling them to practice professionally in Sri Lanka.

Apply for registration as a Pharmacist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC). Eligible applicants must provide their personal details, professional qualifications, declarations, supporting documents, and the applicable payment to complete the registration process.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the Application
    Fill in the online application form with your personal, contact, and professional details exactly as they appear on your official documents.
  2. Prepare the Required Documents
    Upload all required supporting documents, including your qualification certificate, photographs, affidavit, National Identity Card (NIC), and any other required documents.
  3. Make the Payment
    Pay the prescribed registration fee using an approved payment method and upload the payment receipt with your application.
  4. Review and Submit
    Carefully review all information and uploaded documents before submitting your application.
  5. SLMC Verification
    The Sri Lanka Medical Council will review your application and may request the original documents for verification before processing your registration.
